As many will know we have been praying for Gladys, one of the ladies in prison who has been separated from the rest of the fellowship group by being in a different wing to the rest of them. We now want to thank God as people have been praying for her to be moved. We have heard from Miriam that this week that she is being moved to the same wing as the others. There will be a small celebration when MIriam goes in on Wednesday, so we thank God with them for this news.
Branco will be sharing at the Norwich YFC event this coming Friday where there is a Peru cultural evening taking place. It has been organised by a YFC team member who also spent time in Peru last year and wants to encourage people about mission. For further details contact Norwich YFC.
We had a great time last weekend at Norwich Family Life Church at the IGO conference. We met many new friends and exhibited our new new display boards. There was excellent teaching by the speakers including George Verwer from Operation Mobilisation. We are thankful to all at NFLC and IGO for allowing us to be part of this event and we are looking forward to exhibiting at Celebrate Norwich in June.
We want to thank God for his faithfulness today for the arrival of Branco. He seems very pleased to be here and sends his love as well as the love of the rest of the family to those that know him and the supporters of Hope & Song to Freedom
Please pray for Branco (Miriam & Dinger’s Son). He is currently en-route to us in the UK and is flying via Brazil and we expect to see him tomorrow evening. This is his first visit outside of Peru and is quite a long journey on his own especially as he is only 16 years old. Please pray for him as he has to make connections and then catch a coach to Norwich.
If you would or your church/youth group would like to hear Branco speak then please contact us.
We are so thankful to God that Branco’s visa has been granted at the second attempt and he will be arriving in Norwich on Tuesday 22nd February. He will be with us for a few weeks and would love to meet young people and make new friends as well as share his story. If you know of any groups that would be happy to have Branco come and share please contact us at Hope and Song to Freedom
We want to thank Hope Christian Fellowship for a very successful evening last Saturday As well as explaining the work of Hope and Song to Freedom there were our new display boards, a Peru Quiz and general information on the country of Peru. Why not come along to a Peru evening at New Hope Christian Centre, Martineau Lane, Norwich at 7.30pm where we will be having a meal and there will be an opportunity to hear about my visit. You can ask questions and learn more about Peru and our work. Why not dress in a South American theme if you can.
